For an international organization, we are urgently looking for a REMOTE (Senior) Back-End Drupal Developer for a long-term project. We are looking for a contractor, who can work 8 consecutive hours.
All positions are long-term. Candidates need to be able to work at least 6-8 hours in NY time.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Development and maintenance of back-end implementations of Drupal-based solutions;
- Assist site-building activities, including assistance with creating and modifying views, contexts and blocks to match functionality specified in wireframes and designs;
- Develop responsive Drupal 9 websites and applications in support of the client projects in compliance with branding, accessibility, and multi-lingual standards;
- Review user requirements, designs, and wireframes to determine technical feasibility during the design and user experience phase of the project and support the preparation of technical documentation as required;
- Perform other duties as may be reasonably required and in line with the incumbent’s scope of services above;
Profile:
- Bachelor or Master degree;
- +2 years of experience in providing assistance to design, development, implementation, and maintenance in developing Drupal 8/9 websites is required;
- Full exposure to both backend (and frontend development) on Drupal platforms;
- Strong and demonstrable background working with Drupal 8/9;
- Experience building custom integrations, services, and modules within Drupal as well as integrating with APIs;
- Experience with Drupal templating using HTML5, CSS (SCSS is a bonus), and JavaScript;
- Ability to use wire-frame and modelling tools;
- Fluent in English;
