We are urgently looking for a REMOTE (Senior) Front-End Drupal Developer for a long-term project. We are looking for contractors, who can work 8 consecutive hours.
All positions are long-term. Candidates need to be able to work at least 6-8 hours US time.
Tasks and responsibilities:
- Understand and fully analyse functional requirements documentation and stakeholder inputs covering all aspects of the user interfaces of online web/database;
- Produces and reviews layouts design plans and wireframes with the design team to meet any given brief, including alternative approaches and best practice recommendations for front-end development;
- Following agreement on selected designs, help create the necessary CSS styles and templates and assist with their implementation in the application/website;
- Make iterative design adjustments based on user feedback;
- Provide comprehensive reviews of existing applications and provide recommendations for UX improvements;
- Participates in quality assurance testing of multiple Drupal web development environments related to team projects, reporting bugs through use of the team’s JIRA ticketing system. Prepares each ticket with supporting documentation illustrating the identified bugs;
- Ensure web development solutions are user friendly, recording videos of sessions while browsing websites to help identify problems with navigation or user experience, and mobile responsive;
- Conducts validation reviews of bug tickets submitted by other testers to ensure issue replicability and presentation of all replication-related information;
- Confirms via testing the successful resolution of tickets completed by the development team to validate sprint tickets prior to their implementation and reports any issues that require review;
- Collaborates in the preparation of training documentation and other user supporting materials for future web application deployments;
Profile:
- Bachelor or Master degree;
- +2 years of experience in the design, development, implementation, training or maintenance for Drupal 8/9 web sites is required;
- Experience in the development of responsive websites using frameworks;
- Proficiency coding in PHP/HTML/CSS/JavaScript and other web development tools;
- Fluency in English;
