We are looking for a highly skilled motivated Full Stack Engineer with expertise in Ruby on Rails, React, and Typescript to join our Australian Client who works in a microservices environment hosted on AWS with a great deployment pipeline courtesy of Linc and Convox.

• You’ll be building reusable components and developing our frontend architecture, ensuring consistent and functional implementation across multiple devices and platforms
  
• Design and test appropriate user interactions to guide our customers
  
• Own your features from code, documentation to production
  
• Create mobile-optimized experiences for our increasingly mobile user base
  
• Work with our design team to help create new features and experiences
  
• Provide reliable estimates and uncertainties for your projects and features, then deliver on them
  
• Create robust and scalable APIs that allow our customers to get the data they need quickly
  

Responsibilities & Requirements 

• You are a trusted engineer who has completed either a comprehensive software engineering boot camp, CS, or equivalent degree or has relevant work experience
  
• You are customer-obsessed, detail-oriented, enjoy working on highly technical teams, and use data and insights to make decisions
  
• Experience in core programming languages including Rub¡ on Rails, React, and Typescript an advantage
  
• Have a working understanding and be able to use HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  
• Experience with major Open-Source databases. Postgres an advantage
  
• Motivation, grit, and ambition to grow into the role
  
• You are comfortable developing complex systems using JavaScript, Ruby/Rails, and React
  
• You are comfortable using the command line, and version control using Git
  
• You should know your way around one of the major Open-Source databases, ideally Postgres
  
• We write code for our future selves. Your output should be documented, testable, reusable, and maintainable
  
• You are proficient in understanding, writing, and reviewing HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, building reusable components, and ensuring consistent and functional implementation across multiple devices and platforms
  
• As part of a team, you help translate business requirements into customer experiences by thinking first from a customer’s perspective and translating these concepts into designs, prototypes, and production-quality implementations
