We are looking for a highly skilled motivated Backend Engineer Nodejs to join our Australian Client.

You must be a strong team player that sees the big picture, willing to get hands-on with product development and have a background as a Node JS back-end developer, and have good knowledge of front-end technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Design the platform architecture for the client’s new platform.
  
• Create overall technology standards and best practices for managing version-controlled development environments.
  
• Get hands-on with ITOps including setup, and management of dev, staging, and production hosting infrastructure.
  
• Develop the required backend and middleware for MVP launch.
  
• Work with the CEO and other contributors across the organization such as Development
  
• Team, Marketing, Business Development, and Operations to define and deliver new products and enhancements.
  
• Track, analyze, and monitor technology performance metrics. 
  
• Represent the technological agenda in leadership meetings and be responsible for the delivery of software, including velocity and quality.
  

Mandatory Skills:

• Outstanding English communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
  
• Excellent back-end development using NodeJS with microservices architectures
  
• Release management functionality with GIT, Jira, Confluence.
  
• A clear vision of what a successful product, design, and engineering organization looks like and how to achieve it.
  
• Previous working experience as a back-end developer for a minimum of 5 years
  
• A strong education in computer science or similar relevant field.
  
• In-depth knowledge of web systems architecture, design, and development.
  
• Hands-on experience with complex project management.
  

Preferred Skills:

• Full-stack developer with skills that include strong front-end skills with React
  
• Understanding of communication APIs like Twilio, Zoom, or similar.
  
• Experience working with AWS and IT systems.
