A Software development company based in Sri Lanka is looking for a Tech Lead to join their team.
Our client is an expert web development company and they specialize in product development for their worldwide clients.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on technical leadership in all aspects of software engineering, design, and Implementation including data engineering.
- Collaborate with leading the development of a scalable next-gen cloud platform to support Data transformations and cloud strategy.
- Work with business partners to understand the business context and craft best-in-class solutions to their toughest problems.
- Lead building a scalable next-gen cloud platform to support data transformation and cloud strategy.
- Evaluate and make recommendations on new technologies, tools, and guide the team on up-to-date technologies, standards, and practices.
- Develop engineering best practices with considerations for high data availability, computational efficiency, cost, and quality.
- Lead, design, and develop an automation to optimize data platform, computer, and storage Resources.
- Assist in our recruiting and interviewing process.
- Participate in developing project plans, timelines, and providing an estimate.
- Contribute to the internal knowledge base to build expertise and awareness within the organization.
Profile
- BSc in Computer Science or a related field
- Experience with front end development using HTML/CSS, Javascript, and front end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- 5+ years of experience developing and implementing solutions utilizing Java, Python, Node.js, etc.
- Good experience in Technologies: Maven, GlT, Spring, Springboot
- Experience in Microservices, Web services using REST, SOAP, GraphQL, and gRPC.
- Experience in Database using MySQL, PostgreSQL and NoSQL (MongoDB, Amazon DynamoDB).
- Experience with SaaS, cloud technologies, and service offerings.
- Experience with DevOps concepts and associated implementations.
- Strong Experience with AWS is a must, while Google Cloud and Azure would be an added advantage
- Backend development using Spring.
- Strong understanding of Microservice Architecture, Containerization Kubernetes, and Docker
- Strong experience in API management, creating and consuming APIs
- Good knowledge in big data and data warehousing
- Experience with Unit and Integration testing
- Strong experience with data integration
- Strong experience with scrum-based software development, JIRA, and CI/CD
- Strong understanding of design patterns in Java.
- Team Player, empathetic, and a fast learner.
- Experience in working with remote teams
- Having worked with overseas clients is an added advantage.
